INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients
Coal Tar Solution USP Equivalent to 3% Coal Tar 15%.
Inactive Ingredients
Sodium Alkyl Ether Sulfate , Palmitic Betaine , Guar Gum , Hydrolyzed Collagen , P-Hydroxybenzoate Esters , 2-Phenoxyethanol , Fragrance , FD&C Blue 1.
DIRECTIONS:
- Shake well before using.
- Wet hair then massage liberal amount of MG217 into the scalp and leave on for several minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- For best results, use at least twice a week or as directed by a physician.
WARNINGS:
- Ask a doctor before use if you have: condition covering a large area of the body.
- When using this product: Do not get into eyes. If contact occurs rinse thoroughly with water. Use caution in exposing skin to sunlight. It may increase your tendency to sunburn for up to 24 hours after application Do not use with other forms of psoriasis therapy such as ultraviolet radiation or prescription drugs unless directed by a physician Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a physician.

This product is far superior to Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo, Scalpicin, Head and Shoulders, Psoriasin or OxyPor. The scalp itch and scaling I had was incredible. It would drive me crazy and wake me up at night. This product has stopped that completely. I need to use it everytime I shampoo, but I'm hoping that it will send the psoriasis back into remission. I bought this product because my local Wal-Mart was out of T-Gel and in just one bottle, it's made a huge difference. He told me to use a coal tar shampoo two or three times a week, and I began by using J&J's Neutrogena T-Gel. Then, one day our local Acme supermarket was out of T-Gel, so I bought Mg 217 as a stopgap and haven't bought anything else since.
Mg 217 is a good deal stronger than even maximum strength T-Gel, which means that I can use it a bit less often, perhaps. But best of all, a tiny amount of Mg 217 lathers beautifully even in our very hard water (calcium, iron oxide, other minerals, etc.) and makes it much easier to comb-out my nearly waist-length hair.
