INDICATIONS:
Calamine Lotion is used to relieve itching, pain and discomfort due to poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. For the temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor skin irritations. It is used as an antipruritic to treat sunburn, eczema, rashes, poison ivy, chicken pox, insect bites and stings. It is used as a mild antiseptic to prevent infections that can be caused by scratching the affected area. It is also used to dry weeping or oozing blisters and acne abscesses. It is used as it has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin for symptomatic relief of the itching.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Calamine, 6. 971% (skin protectant), Zinc Oxide, 6. 971% (skin protectant).
Inactive Ingredients:
Bentonite, Calcium Hydroxide, Magma, Glycerin and Purified Water.
DIRECTIONS:
Wash and completely dry the affected area before applying the lotion. Shake well before use. Apply this medication to the affected area of skin, generally three to four times daily or as directed by your physician.
Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not freeze.
