INDICATIONS:
Complete Amino acid powder mix :
It is a concentrated powdered vitamin.
Features :
- Balanced mixture of essential and non-essential amino acids.
- Supplements increased protein needs in enteral formulas.
- Complete amino acid mix provides 4 g of protein equivalent per 5 g of powder .
- Recommended feeding concentration is 5 percent w/v (e.g. 5 g powder to 100 mL of water) .
- Best served as a chilled drink, mixed with water, fruit juices or other formulas .
- Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition; micronutrients and energy must be supplied separately .
- Not for parenteral use .
- Osmolality: 5 percent w/v = 360 mOsm/kg.
Indications :
- Conditions in which a nutritionally complete feed is not suitable or a modular approach is required.
- Conditions where an oligoallergenic diet is indicated, e.g. individuals intolerance to milk protein or other whole protein.
- Intractable malabsorption.
- Feeding difficulties in post-operative conditions.
- Chronic intestinal diseases, e.g. Crohn's disease.
- Short Bowel Syndrome following intestinal resection.

WARNINGS:
