INDICATIONS:
Stool Softener Softgel and wetting agent use for the temporary relief of constipation. Helps keep stool soft for easy and natural evacuation. Stool Softeners help to mix liquids into the stool and prevent dry hard masses. The lubricant effect makes stools easier to pass. Results usually occur within twenty four to seventy two hours. Evacuation is softened stools.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Docusate Sodium (100 mg).
Inactive Ingredients:
FD&C Red No. 40, Gelatin, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol and Sorbitol Special. May Also Contain: D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Yellow No. 6, and Purified Water.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults and Children Over 12 Years of Age: Take 1 to 2 softgels preferably at bedtime. Children 6 to 12 Years of Age: Take 1 softgel at bedtime.
WARNINGS:
Do not use if you are currently taking mineral oil, unless directed by a doctor; when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present; for longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that persist over a period of 2 weeks. Stop use and ask a doctor if you have rectal bleeding; you fail to have a bowel movement after use. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not use if imprinted safety seal under cap is broken or missing.
