INDICATIONS:

Docusate sodium liquid stool softener laxative by Hi-tech

Stool Softener.
Used for prevention of dry, hard stools.
Promotes easy bowel movements without straining.
Helps to relieve constipation, and is particularly useful for people with hemorrhoids, people who have had recent rectal surgery, people with hernias, and women who have just had babies. Image shown is for display purposes only.

INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Docusate Sodium 50 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Citric Acid; D&C Red No. 33; Methylparaben; Poloxamer; Polyethylene Glycol; Propylene Glycol; Propylparaben; Sodium Citrate; Vanillin; Purified Water.

DIRECTIONS:
Usual daily dose: Must be given in a 6 oz to 8 oz glass of milk or fruit juice or in infant's formula to prevent throat irritation. Infants and children under 3 years of age: As prescribed by a physician. Children 3 to 6 years of age: 2 mL one to three times daily. For retention or flushing enemas: Add 5 to 10 mL (1 to 2 tsp) of liquid to the enema fluid. The effect of liquid on the stools may not be apparent until 1 to 3 days after the first oral dose.

Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. As with any drug, pregnant or nursing women should seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
