INDICATIONS:
Pamprin Maximum Strength Multi Symptom Menstrual Pain Relief Caplets - With acetaminophen and aspirin.
- Advanced pain relief: cramps, backache, headache, plus fatigue.
- Easy-open bottle with childproof cap.
Pamprin Caplets for temporary relief of these symptoms associated with menstrual periods: cramps, backache, headache, fatigue, bloating.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Acetaminophen 500 mg - Pain reliever, Pamabrom 25 mg - Diuretic, Pyrilamine maleate 15 mg - Antihistamine.
Inactive Ingredients:
Crospovidone, magnesium stearate, povidone, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid (224-186).
DIRECTIONS:
Aults and children 12 years and over: take 2 caplets with full glass of water every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 caplets in a 24 hour period or as directed by a doctor. Do not use more than directed. Children under 12 years: ask a doctor.
WARNINGS:
Reyes Syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reyes syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin.
Caffeine Warning: The recommended dose of this product contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Limit the use of caffeine-containing medications, foods, or beverages while taking this product because too much caffeine may cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, and, occasionally, rapid heartbeat.
Allergy Alert: Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates - including aspirin - unless directed by a doctor.
Alcohol Warning:If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen and aspirin or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen and aspirin may cause liver damage and stomach bleeding.
Cross-Dosing Warning: Do not use with other acetaminophen containing products.
Overdose Warning: Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious health problems. In case of an overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
Ask a doctor before use if you have asthma. Stomach problems - such as heartburn, upset stomach, or stomach pain - that persist or recur, ulcers or bleeding problems.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not give to children under 3 years. If imprinted inner seal is broken or missing, do not use. Purchase only if carton ends flaps are sealed.
