INDICATIONS:
For prevention of heartburn, acid indigestion and sour stomach brought on by consuming food beverages.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
per tablet: Nizatidine (75 mg).
Inactive Ingredients:
Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Synthetic Iron Oxides, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, Pregalatinized Starch, Propylene Glycol, Corn Starch, Titanium Dioxide.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults and Children 12 years and older: Swallow 1 tablet with water one-half hour to one hour before eating food and beverages that cause you heartburn. Can be used up to twice daily (up to 2 tablets in 24 hours). Children under 12 years old: Should not be given unless directed by a doctor.
WARNINGS:
Do not take the maximum daily dosage for more than 2 weeks continuously unless directed by a doctor. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of health professional before using this product. If you have trouble swallowing, or have persistent abdominal pain, see your doctor promptly. You may have a serious condition that may need different treatment. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion or contact a poison control center immediately.

When my insurance company refused to pay for it I switched to this over-the-counter brand. It has been just as good. My only complaint is that they only provide 50 tabs in each bottle and I take one twice a day as I'm sure most people do. Why can't they increase the quantity to 60? Also, I recently found this same Axid product at Walmart for $12.95.
