INDICATIONS:
Maalox Total Relief Strawberry Falvored Liquid Stomach Reliever is a maximum strength Bismuth Subsalicylate upset stomach reliever and antidiarrheal. Maalox Total Relief Maximum Strength is for the relief of upset stomach associated with nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, acid indigestion and gas due to overindulgence in food and drink. Maalox Stomach Reliever gives overall relief.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Bismuth Subsalicylate (525mg) (Upset stomach reliever/Antidiarrheal).
Inactive Ingredients:
Flavor, Methylparaben, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Water (Purified), Salicylic Acid, Sodium Salicylate, Sorbitol, Sucralose, Xanthan Gum.
DIRECTIONS:
- Shake well before using.
- Adults and children 12 years of age and older : 2 tablespoons (30 ml) every hour, as required, not to exceed 8 tablespoons (120 ml) in 24 hours.
- Use until diarrhea stops but not more than 2 days.
- Drink plenty clear liquids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea.
- Store at controlled room temperature.
- Children under 12 years of age : Ask a doctor.
- Keep tightly closed and avoid freezing.
WARNINGS:
- Do not use : if you have bloody or black stool, an ulcer, or a bleeding problem.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have fever, mucus in the stool.
- When using this product a temporary, but harmless, darkening of the stool or tongue may occur.
- If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health care professional before use.
- In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
- Keep out of reach of children.
