INDICATIONS:
Docusol Mini Enemas For the relief of occasional constipations (irregularity). This product generally produces a bowl movement in 2 to 15 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Docusate Sodium USP (283 mg) (Stool Softener Laxative).
Inactive Ingredients:
Polyethylene Glycol (and), Glycerine USP.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults and children 12 years of age and older (with adult supervision), one to three units daily. Children 6 to 12 years of age (with adult supervision), one unit daily. Children under 6 years of age, consult a doctor prior to use. Twist off and remove tip. Lubricate tip prior to insertion. Place a few drops of water or of the product on the shaft prior to insertion. Also apply one of these lubricates to the anus before inserting the enema.
In the knee-chest position, kneel, then lower head and chest forward until side of face is resting on the surface with arm folded comfortably. With steady pressure, gently insert the enema into the rectum. Insert the enema up the shoulder of tube. Forcing the tip can result in injury to the rectal wall. Squeeze the tube to empty the contents. Slowly remove the disposable tube, after the contents have been emptied. Discard the unit.

| | | | Customer Reviews | | |   | Good product, works fast | | These work well for mild to moderate constipation, usually in around 5 to 10 minutes. I personally find the Fleet's Bisacodyl enemas to be a little more effective.
According to the instructions on the package, you're supposed to use the knee-chest position when taking the enema. This is probably to insure that the small amount of liguid gets deep enough in the colon to be fully effective. The knee-chest position is fine if you have someone to help administer the enema, but it can be a little awkward if you're doing it alone.
