INDICATIONS:
Zicam Multi Symptom Daytime Cold and Flu Relief Liquid temporarily relieves common cold and flu symptoms : Nasal and sinus congestion, chest congestion, cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, minor aches and pains, sore throat, muscular aches, headache, fever. Pain reliever, fever reducer, cough suppressant and expectorant. Powerful Relief of Sore Throat, Headache, Chest Congestion, and Cough.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Acetaminophen (325mg) (Pain Reliever/Fever Reducer), Dextromethorphan HBr (10mg) (Cough Suppressant), Guaifenesin (200mg) (Expectorant).
Inactive Ingredients:
Acesulfame Potassium, Disodium EDTA, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Water (Purified), Sodium Chloride, Sucralose.
DIRECTIONS:
Take only as directed - see overdose warning. Only use enclosed measuring cup designed for use with this product. Store at room temperature 15 degrees - 29 degrees C (59 degrees - 84 degrees F). Do not use if plastic neck wrap or foil inner seal is broken or missing. Adults and children 12 years and over : add 2 tablespoons (Tbsp) or 30 ml to 6-8 ounces of hot or cold beverage (tea, juice, soda) or take directly from measuring cup. One dose every 4 hours as needed. Do not exceed 6 doses every 24 hours. Children under 12 years : do not use this adult product in children under 12 years of age; this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) and may cause liver damage.
Drug Interaction Precautions: Do not use with other medicines containing acetaminophen. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
WARNINGS:
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause serious liver damage. Sore Throat Warning : If sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days is accompanied by or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly.
Alcohol Warning : If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks per day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Ask a doctor before use if you have : heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, difficulty in urination due to enlarged prostate, a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus), or persistent or chronic cough as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema. Ask a doctor before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers.
When using this product : Do not use more than directed, may cause excitability especially in children, avoid alcoholic beverages. Stop use and ask a doctor if : Redness or swelling is present, fever gets worse and lasts for more than 3 days, symptoms do not get better within 7 days or are accompanied by a fever, you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless or new symptoms occur, these could be sig |
