INDICATIONS:
Triaminic Long Acting Cough Relief Thin Strips Quiets Cough up to 8 Hours. provides a broad range of formulas, in forms created with the needs of children in mind. 14 Cherry Flavored Medicated Strips. Dextromethorphan HBr/Cough Suppressant. Alcohol: Less than 5%. Store at controlled room temperature 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F).
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan HBr (7. 5 mg) (cough suppressant).
Inactive Ingredients:
Acetone, Alcohol, Dibasic Sodium Phosphate, FD&C Red 40, Flavors, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Hypromellose, Maltodextrin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polacrilin, Polyethylene Glycol, Pregelatinized Starch, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sorbitol, Sucralose, Titanium Dioxide.
DIRECTIONS:
To open enclosed packet, fold along dotted line and tear at slit. Peel, back foil to expose product. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: Allow 2 strips to dissolve on tongue. May be taken every 6 to 8 hours. Do not exceed 8 strips in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years of age: Ask a doctor.
WARNINGS:
Do not use with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is taking sedatives or tranquilizers. Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away. Do not use if sealed packet in carton is open, torn or broken.
Ask a doctor before use if the child has : Glaucoma. Cough that occurs with too much phlegm - mucus. Cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with asthma or chronic bronchitis.
When using this product : Do not use more than directed. Marked drowsiness may occur. Sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Excitability may occur, especially in children.
