INDICATIONS:
Vicks Filter Free Humidifier includes a scent pad heater so that you can enjoy Vicks Soothing Menthol vapors to increase your comfort. Visible, cool mist for the relief of cold and flu symptoms . Whisper quiet operation. Featuring Vicks Vapor Therapy with integrated scent pad heater. Large opening easy clean tank. Adjustable mist intensity. 3 year limited warranty. Bonus Protectm cartridge. Removable tank with handle for easy filling. 1-gallon capacity, operates 18 to 24 hours per filling. Uses VSP-19 Vicks Scent Pads, one sample included.
DIRECTIONS:
Always place Humidifier on a firm, flat, level surface, at least 5 inches away from walls and heat sources such as stoves, radiators or heaters. Humidifier may not work properly on a non level surface. When moving, or lifting the Humidifier make sure you have a secure grip under the Base of unit. When removing the Tank, use one hand on the Tank Handle and the other on the bottom of the Tank on the Fill Cap. This will help prevent leakage of water or breakage of the unit itself. Place Humidifier in an area that is out of the reach of children. Before using the Humidifier, extend the cord and inspect for any signs of damage. Do not use the product if cord has been damaged. This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature. This plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully intothe outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Humidifier should always be unplugged and emptied when not in operation or while being cleaned. Never tilt or move the Humidifier while it is in operation. Shut off and unplug before moving. Humidifier requires regular cleaning. Refer to and follow cleaning instructions in this manual.
Scent Pad Heater Instructions : Open the lid of the Scent Pad heater tray. Place one scent pad in the tray, being careful not to touch scent pad with your hands. If your hands do come in contact with the pad, please wash them thoroughly as the menthol vapors can be an irritant. Close lid and turn the unit on.
WARNINGS:
Never use hot water, may cause damage to internal components. Do not add any type of medication or additive to the water. As long as your humidifier is on, the scent pad heater will also be activated. This area can be warm to the touch.
