INDICATIONS:
Buckleys Mixture Cough Relief Suppressant Liquid is a effective relief of coughs and congestion due to colds, minor bronchial irritations, laryngitis, hoarseness, croupy cough and minor irritations due to smoking, dust or air pollution. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. It affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan HBr (12.5 mg) (Cough Suppressant).
Inactive Ingredients:
Ammonium Carbonate, Butylparaben, Camphor, Canadian Fir Balsam Gum, Carrageenan Viscarin, Glycerin, Menthol, Pine Needle Oil, Propylparaben Sodium, Water Purified, Sodium Saccharin, Tincture of Capsicum.
DIRECTIONS:
Adults and Children 12 years of age and over: 1 teaspoon every 4 hours not to exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. Children under 12 years of age: Ask a doctor. Store at 15 C - 30 C (59 F - 86 F).
WARNINGS:
Ask a doctor before use if you have a cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). A cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
