INDICATIONS:
May be used by individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, or thyroid disease, to relieve the symptoms of cough, to loosen phlegm (mucus). For adults and pre-adults. Alcohol-Free, Clear, Gluten-Free & Kosher. Maximum strength cough suppressant with extra expectorant to relieve mucus and chest congestion. No sodium, saccharin or sorbitol.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per Teaspoonful (5 mL): Guaifenesin USP 200 mg; Dextromethorphan HBr USP 15 mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
(All USP): Purified Water; Glycerin; Propylene Glycol; Citric Acid; Benzoic Acid; Aspartame; Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; Peppermint Stick Flavor; Menthol; Methylparaben; Propylparaben.
DIRECTIONS:
Do Not Exceed Recommended Dosage. Adults And Children Over 12 Years Old: 1 Teaspoonful Every 4 Hours, Not To Exceed 6 Teaspoonfuls In 24 Hours. Children Under 12 Years Old: Consult Your Doctor.
WARNINGS:
Phenylketonurics: Contains Phenylalanine. If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur or is accompanied by high fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a doctor. As with any drug if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a doctor before using this product. DRUG INTERACTION PRECAUTION: Do not take this product if you are taking a prescription drug containing a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) without first consulting your doctor. Serious toxicity may result if Dextromethorphan is used with MAOIs (i. e. certain drugs for depression, Parkinson's or similar). If you are uncertain whether you are taking medication containing MAOIs consult your doctor.
