INDICATIONS: Sterile SoftWear Saline can be used with all types of soft contact lenses including daily wear, extended wear and tinted lenses. For fast, temporary relief from minor irritants such as smoke, dirt, and dryness - try Focus Lens Drops to help keep your lenses moist and comfortable throughout the day.
CIBA Vision SoftWear Saline - pH as natural as your own tears.
- Thimerosal free.
- Sterile Saline.
- For rinsing and storage of all types of soft contact lenses.
SoftWear Saline is a sterile, isotonic saline solution containing sodium chloride and an antimicrobial buffer system (A. B. S. ) consisting of sodium borate, boric acid, and sodium perborate(generating up to 0. 006% hydrogen peroxide stabilized with phosphonic acid). If you are allergic to any ingredient in SoftWear Saline do not use this product.
SoftWear Saline solutions does not contain thimerosal or chlorhexidine which are found in some other salines and might cause irritation.
SoftWear Saline is recommended for the following:
Rinsing - After cleaning thoroughly rinse your lenses. Hydrogen Peroxide and Chemical Disinfection Systems (including multi-purpose solutions) - rinse after disinfection prior to lens insertion. Heat (Thermal) Disinfection - Use SoftWear Saline when disinfection. Dissolving Enzyme Tablets - Use SoftWear Saline when dissolving enzyme tablets for protein. Unizyme Enzymatic Cleaner is recommended for use with SoftWear Saline. Storage - Store soft lenses overnight prior to disinfection and up to 30 days following disinfection.
