INDICATIONS:
Os-Cal helps reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Highly absorbable calcium. Meets USP dissolution standards. Used in the prestigious Women's Health Initiative landmark study.

One Os-Cal 500+D has no sugar, lactose, carbohydrates or sodium. One Os-Cal 500+D has 0 calories; one Viactiv has 20 calories.

One Os-Cal 500+D has 500 mg of elemental calcium; one Citracal + Vitamin D has only 315 mg. Contains the form of calcium shown to help promote colon health.

Regular exercise and healthy diet with enough calcium helps teen, middle-aged and older women and men, especially Caucasian and Asian women who are at high risk, maintain good bone health and may reduce their risk of osteoporosis later in life.

Adequate calcium intake is important, but daily intakes above 2000 mg are not likely to provide any additional benefit.
