Toxin Control helps prevent hangover headaches and other discomforts by absorbing harmful elements in beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages. Activated charcoal works by adsorption (not absorption). Adsorption is a process where substances move from a bulk phase (such as a solid, liquid or gas) onto a solid or liquid surface. Toxic substances attach to surface of the charcoal. Because charcoal is not digested, it stays inside the GI track and eliminates the toxin when the person has a bowel movement.
INGREDIENTS:
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Stearic Acid, Whey, Hypromellose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Soy Sulfate, Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Magnesium Silicate, Titanium Dioxide, FD&C Yellow No 6 Lake, Triacetin, Mineral Oil and FD&C red No 40.
DIRECTIONS:
As a dietary supplement, take 2 caplets. For best results, take 2 more caplets every 2 to 3 hours (or 5 to 6 drinks) thereafter. To prevent alcohol related dehydration, drink plenty of water or sports drinks.
