Os-Cal is available in a chewable form- with a great-tasting flavor.
Os-Cal 500 + Extra D Chewable contain 500 mg of calcium plus extra (400 IU) Vitamin D to help calcium absorption.
Os-Cal 500 + Extra D Chewable are sugar-free, quick dissolving tablets that feel as though they melt in your mouth. They also contain no calories or carbohydrates. They might be the perfect way for people who have difficulty swallowing pills to get the calcium and extra Vitamin D they need.
Osteoporosis:
Regular exercise and a healthy diet with enough calcium helps teen, middle-aged and older women and men maintain good bone health. While Caucasian and Asian women are at greatest risk, all middle-aged women, those with a family history of the disease, and older men and women are at risk for developing osteoporosis.
Adequate calcium intake is important, but daily intakes above 2000mg are not likely to provide any additional benefits.
INGREDIENTS:
Calcium Carbonate, Sorbitol, Isomalt, Povidone, Contains Less Than 1% of Magnesium Stearate, Gelatin, Sucrose, Aspartame, Corn Starch, Natural & Artificial Flavor, Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3).
DIRECTIONS:
Take one tablet, twice a day, with meals, or as recommended by your physician. Can be taken along your multivitamin. Store below 25 C degrees (77 degrees F). Keep container tightly closed.
