INDICATIONS:
Super soluble duocal is an ideal energy supplement for use in a variety of conditions where extra calories are required. A powdered medical food providing fat and carbohydrate for increased caloric intake for children over the age of one year. Features of Super Soluble Duocal Unflavored Powder: - Completely soluble in water, liquids and moist foods without altering the taste
- Unflavored powder.
- Disorders of protein and amino acid metabolism.
- Protein restricted diets.
- Electrolyte restricted diets.
- High energy diets.
DIRECTIONS:
Intake is to be determined by a medical professional and is dependent on age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. Super Soluble Duocais soluble in liquids and moist foods without altering taste. For oral or tube feeding:
Measure the prescribed amount of Super Soluble Duocal. Add powder to the required volume of liquid and/or soft food and stir continuously until the powder has dissolved. Unused foods mixed with Super Soluble Duocal should be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Shake or stir immediately before serving.
WARNINGS:
Must only be consumed under medical supervision. Not intended for children under one year of age. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use.
StorageStore unopened container at room temperature. Do not store at extreme temperatures. Once opened, reseal container and store in a cool, dry place (not refrigerator) and use within one month.
