INDICATIONS:
Orajel Gel For the temporary relief of pain due to toothaches.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Benzocaine 10%.
Inactive Ingredients:
Flavor; Polyethylene Glycols; Sodium Saccharin; Sorbic Acid.
DIRECTIONS:
Remove cap. Cut open tip of tube at score mark. Squeeze a small amount of Orajel directly into cavity and around gum surrounding the teeth.
WARNINGS:
Do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other caine anesthetics. This preparation is intended for use in cases of toothache, only as a temporary expedient until a dentist can be consulted. Do not use continuously. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose or allergic reaction, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

It's not messy and once you place it on the painful area, you feel almost instant relief. I recently used it on a wisdom tooth which was killing me. Even after takin some pain medication, I still was still experience some pain. So, a couple of hours later I bought some orajel and almost immediately my the pain began to disappear.
