INDICATIONS:
Oral Electrolyte Solution unflavoured use to quickly replace fluids and electrolytes lost during diarrhea and vomiting to help prevent dehydration in infants and children, for maintenance of water and electrolytes following corrective parenteral therapy for diarrhea. Oral Electrolyte is designed to promote fluid absorption more effectively than common household beverages.
INGREDIENTS:
Oral Electrolyte Solution unflavoured contains Per Liter: Sodium 45 mEq, Potassium 20 mEq, Chloride 35 mEq, Citrate, 30 mEq, Dextrose 25 g, Water, Potassium Citrate, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate.
DIRECTIONS:
Do not add water. Ready to use. To open: Twist off cap to expose protective foil seal. Remove seal. After using, replace cap, refrigerate and use within 48 hours. Do not reuse bottle. Direction for use: To restore fluid and minerals lost in diarrhea and vomiting. For infants under 1 year of age, consult your doctor before feeding Oral Electrolyte. For children 1 year of age and older, offer Oral Electrolyte every 3 to 4 hours. The child should take from 1 to 2 liters per day while the diarrhea continues.
