INDICATIONS:
A phenylalanine-free food that helps in the nutritional management of children or adults with PKU used under the direct and continuing supervison of a doctor. Phenyl-Free 2 is a dietary powder that provides 22 grams protein equivalents per 100 grams powder (22% calories), but without any phenylalanine.

Its fat content (19% of calories) supplies adequate essential fatty acids without excessive fat. Carbohydrate contributes 59% of calories. So the child or adult using Phenyl-Free 2 is able to meet his or her protein needs, and receive the adequate amounts of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that may not always be available from a low-protein diet.
