INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of pinworms. Full prescription strength. Doctor recommended ingredient. Relieves itching and irritation from pinworms. Effective with just one dose. Child resistant cap. Great cherry taste. Sugar free.
INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Per 1 mL: Pyrantel Pamoate 144 mg (Equivalent To 50 mg/mL Pyrantel Base).
Inactive Ingredients:
Acesulfame Potassium; Citric Acid; Dibasic Sodium Phosphate; Flavor; Methylparaben; Microcrystalline Cellulose (and) Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium; Polysorbate 80; Propylene Glycol; Propylparaben; Purified Water; Sorbitol.
DIRECTIONS:
For dosage use the chart below. Weight: Less than 25 lbs or under 2 yrs old, dosage (taken as a single dose): Do not use unless directed by a doctor. 25-37 lbs: 1/2 teaspoon (2. 5 mL). 38-62 lbs: 1 teaspoon (5 mL). 63-87 lbs: 1-1/2 teaspoons (7. 5 mL). 88-112 lbs: 2 teaspoons (10 mL). 113-137 lbs: 2-1/2 teaspoons (12. 5 mL). 138-162 lbs: 3 teaspoons (15 mL). 163-187 lbs (3-1/2 teaspoons (17. 5 mL). 188 lbs and over: 4 teaspoons (20 mL). Read package insert carefully before taking this medication. Take only according to directions and do not exceed the recommended dosage unless directed by a doctor. Medication should only be taken one time as a single dose; do not repeat treatment unless directed by a doctor. When on individual in a household has pinworms, the entire household should be treated unless otherwise advised. See Warnings. If any worms other than pinworms are present before or after treatment, consult a doctor. If any symptoms or pinworms are still present after treatment, consult a doctor. This product can be taken any time of day, with or without meals. It may be taken alone or with milk or fruit juice. Use of a laxative is not necessary prior to, during, or after medication.
WARNINGS:
Do not use if you are pregnant or if you have liver disease unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and ask a doctor if abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, or dizziness persists after taking this product. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
