INDICATIONS:
Comtrex Maximum Strength Night Time Cold and Cough Relief Caplets includes daytime and nighttime caplets. All the pills relieve such flu symptoms as muscular aches and pains, headache, sore throat, fever, and congestion. In addition, the nighttime tablets contain an antihistamine to relieve sneezing and runny nose, and therefore may cause drowsiness. Comtrex Maximum Strength Night Time Cold & Cough Caplet is Pain reliever/fever reducer, cough suppressant, Nasal decongestant, antihistamine. Fast Relief of:- Runny nose & sneezing,
- Nasal Congestion,
- Sore throat pain,
- Headache,
- Coughing.
DIRECTIONS:
The usual dose is 2 daytime caplets every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 a day, and 2 nighttime caplets no sooner than 6 hours after the last daytime dose. For children under 12, check with your doctor.
WARNINGS:
Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Sore throat warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Ask a doctor right away. Do not use for more than 2 days or give to children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor.
Do not use:For more than 7 days If you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI)(certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. With any other products containing acetaminophen. Taking more than directed may cause liver damage.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:high blood pressure. cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). chronic cough that lasts or as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema. trouble urinating due to an enlarge prostate gland . heart disease. diabetes. thyroid disease. When using this product do not use more than directed.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:new symptoms occur. redness or swelling is present. fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days. pain, cough or nasal congestion gets worse or lasts more than 7 days. cough comes back, or occurs with rash, or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose Warning:Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious health problems. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
