Pro Phree Powder is Nutrition support of infants and toddlers requiring reduced protein intake, specific mixture of L-amino acids or increased energy, minerals and vitamins. FEATURES: Protein-free to permit protein restriction, preparation of diets containing mixtures of L-amino acids or the addition of extra energy, minerals and vitamins. Powder supplemented with L-carnitine (25 mg/100 g) and taurine (50 mg/100 g) to help supply amounts normally found in human milk and foods of animal origin. Provides 49% of energy as fat to help achieve acceptable formula osmolality. Provides 4.76% of energy as linoleic acid, compatible with the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Nutrition (2.7%). Supplemented with selenium to help prevent deficiency of this essential mineral. Supplemented with calcium and phosphorus to help supply 2000 National Academy of Sciences-National Research Council Dietary Reference Intakes. Nutrient profile specifically designed for infants and toddlers. May be used by children and adults. A ratio of (sodium + potassium):chloride to help impede acidosis.
