INDICATIONS:Neutra-Phos K Powder Concentrate Packets - This medicine is a urinary acidifier used to prevent kidney stones.It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.Phosphates are used as dietary supplements for patients who are unable to get enough phosphorus in their regular diet, usually because of certain illnesses or diseases.Phosphate is the drug form (salt) of phosphorus.Some phosphates are used to make the urine more acid, which helps treat certain urinary tract infections.Some phosphates are used to prevent the formation of calcium stones in the urinary tract.
DIRECTIONS:Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Empty contents of one packet in 1/3 glass of water (2 and 1/2 ounces). Stir the solution vigorously until all particles are dissolved.DO NOT TAKE ANTACIDS with this medicine without checking with your doctor or pharmacist.STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light.
