INDICATIONS:
Similac Alimentum Advance Infant Formula USAGE:As a nutritionally complete hypoallergenic formula for infants and as a supplemental beverage for children with severe food allergies, sensitivity to intact protein (including colic due to protein sensitivity), protein maldigestion or fat malabsorption. Contains predigested protein (casein hydrolysate) to minimize allergenicity and an easily digested and absorbed fat blend. Alimentum Advance also contains DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and ARA (arachidonic acid).
Similac Alimentum Advance Infant Formula Features
Hypoallergenic, provides predigested protein to virtually eliminate the risk of allergic reaction.
Hydrolyzed casein supplemented with free amino acids for infants who are sensitive to or unable to digest intact protein.
Contains DHA and ARA, two nutrients found in breast milk that are important for mental and visual development.
Fast colic relief--starts reducing colic symptoms in 24 hours in most infants.
A blend of two carbohydrates using two absorptive pathways to maximize absorption and minimize risk of malabsorption.
Lactose-free carbohydrate to avoid lactose-associated diarrhea.
Ready To Feed formula is corn-free.
Contains oils that have been shown to be well absorbed. Approximately 33% of the fat as medium chain triglycerides.
INGREDIENTS:
87% Water, 4.4% sugar (sucrose), 2.3% casein hydrolysate (enzymatically hydrolyzed), 2.2% modified tapioca starch, 1.4% safflower oil, 1.3% medium-chain triglycerides, 1.1% soy oil; Less than 1% of: C. cohnii oil, M. alpina oil, calcium citrate, calcium phosphate, carrageenan, potassium phosphate, ascorbic acid, magnesium chloride, calcium hydroxide, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, L-cystine dihydrochloride, potassium chloride, L-tyrosine, choline chloride, L-tryptophan, ferrous sulfate, taurine, m-inositol, zinc sulfate, alpha-tocopheryl acetate, L-carnitine, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, cupric sulfate, riboflavin, vitamin A palmitate, thiamine chloride hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, potassium iodide, phylloquinone, biotin, sodium selenate, vitamin D3 and cyanocobalamin.
